Behind every repair SmartFix delivers is an artisan whose life we are invested in. Not just as a service provider, but as a person with goals, challenges, a family, and a trade worth building a life on.
The SmartFix Artisans Community — formally structured under the SmartFix Artisans Empowerment Initiative and SmartFix Artisans Cooperative Society — exists to give every artisan in our network the support, structure, and dignity their work deserves.

SmartFix in the Community
We believe that a community that gives back grows stronger. SmartFix artisans do not just fix homes, they serve the communities around them.
Maternal and Child Centre, Ogombo
SmartFix artisans visited the Maternal and Child Centre in Ogombo and carried out free repairs across multiple trade categories including plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance. A facility that serves mothers and children in the community got the care it deserved.

Anchor Orphanage Home, Ikate
In May 2025, SmartFix visited Anchor Orphanage Home in Ikate and completed free repairs across the facility. The team also donated food items – contributions made by artisans and donors who believe in giving back. Children in the community received both maintenance support and practical care.

Cover an artisan's annual pass and bring them into the SmartFix network. ₦20,000 gives one artisan a full year of access.
Fund Training

Help extend health coverage to artisans and their families. Healthy artisans do better work and live better lives.
Tool Support
Equip a new artisan joining the network. Tools are often the biggest barrier to entry for skilled tradespeople.

Fund structured mentorship sessions where experienced SmartFix Ogas guide and develop newer members.
